Welcome to all this is unsolved in your heart.
I offer mental health counseling to individuals who have been broken open to the world through painful experiences of grief and loss: loss of love, of meaning or purpose, of knowing their ‘who’ or ‘where,’ of vitality and health, of core relationships and stories, or of life dreams, unimagined.
I know how it feels to be isolated and alone. As a therapist, I come along as a point of connection, to listen deeply and hold space for all that needs to be spoken. I honor individuals as they navigate to the centers of their own stories, the hidden parts and forgotten chapters, as well as the ones they are hoping to write for the future. I believe that there is hope and peace even in the darkest of places, and I am here to help you discover what’s possible and to feel better.
Areas supported include: Depression, Anxiety, Traumatic Grief/Loss, New Parenting Stress, Body/Somatic Concerns, Spiritual Experiences, Perinatal and Postpartum. I also provide EMDR therapy.
I am currently providing teletherapy or in-person sessions located in Renton, WA. I am a supervised Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (#MC61494560 ) with Kim Buehlman, LMHC (#LH00004029.)
To get in touch, please call at 425-269-9788 or email me at sarah.m.schumacher@gmail.com. I’m happy to discuss working together during a free 15-minute consultation call. I look forward to connecting!
